An element profile is a list of products that maybe associated with a particular element or device shown in System Surveyor. Element profiles were created to help expedite the survey process and easily choose products frequently used for a Bill of Materials.
In this 6-minute video, learn how to use and manage Element Profiles for different security system types in a physical security system design. Element Profiles expedites the design of security systems by making it easy to drag and drop security devices into the system design and generate an automated bill of materials with devices and all their associated accessories. Choose devices from product catalogs of your favorite security technology manufacturers. For example, drag and drop a specific video surveillance camera into the design, determine the area of coverage and review the list of products and accessories in the Element Profile for that camera. Create, edit and import Element Profiles to be used by your team in physical security system designs.
