System Surveyor Wins BEST Electronic Security Equipment, Software and Services

System Surveyor Awarded 2023 Campus Safety BEST Award for its K-12, University Campus Plan

AUSTIN, Texas, August 4, 2023This week, Campus Safety announced the winners of the 2023 Campus Safety Best Electronic Systems Technologies (BEST) awards at Campus Safety Conference in Dallas, TX. Among the winners announced, System Surveyor’s Campus Plan was recognized within the “Electronic Security Equipment, Software and Systems Integrations Services” category. Now in its eighth year, the program honors superior security, law enforcement, emergency management and life safety products and services for healthcare, higher education and K-12 campus protection professionals.

“Campus Safety takes pride in focusing on content that helps protection professionals in the healthcare and education markets keep their students, teachers, patients, visitors and campuses safe and secure,” said Robin Hattersley, editor of Campus Safety.

Available both via web browser and as a mobile tablet app, the System Surveyor Campus plan is built on System Surveyor’s secure, cloud-based platform that enables users to document and manage security devices deployed across several facilities and share that information with relevant partners, streamlining and simplifying collaborative system design. System Surveyor gives key stakeholders the ability to be everywhere at once, from the early stages of system design and implementation to the task of maintaining that system over time. By equipping administrators, security directors and law enforcement with a secure, digital map of an entire security system, System Surveyor ensures every stakeholder has access to the most up-to-date information and reduces the time it takes to plan, budget, implement and maintain security systems by 20-40%, ensuring campuses remain in compliance with all relevant mandates.

“We are incredibly proud of the work we do with both our integrator and end user partners in K-12 schools and universities and are honored to receive this award in recognition of that work,” said CEO and Co-Founder of System Surveyor, Chris Hugman. “However, we owe the success of our platform to the campus safety and security personnel with whom we work every day. Without their dedication, close collaboration and feedback, we wouldn’t have been able to develop this solution to help schools design solutions for a more secure campus.”

When it comes to overseeing the lifecycles of individual devices, System Surveyor’s Campus Plan offers campus safety and security personnel a central location to map all deployed assets, as well as visualize and collaborate with stakeholders, public safety, vendors and subcontractors on solutions for a more secure campus.
