You’re on a site walk with a client who loves to talk—fast.

The Old Workaround (and Why It Falls Short)

System integrators still relying on legacy processes use a handful of tactics to try and overcome this site-survey gap:

  • Voice memos
  • Handwritten notes scrawled on yellow pads
  • Smartphone photos with no context and unhelpful file names

The end result is frustrating, but familiar. A huge gap emerges between what was discussed on the site walk and what makes it into the proposal. 

By the time they get the proposal, customers may not remember exactly what they said during the site walk. But they recognize immediately that you missed the mark.

The new AI Notetaker acts as this on-site site walk companion. It records an audio transcription of the conversation in real time aligned to the timing of the design in the survey. Capturing observations, security system requirements, and design notes as you and your customer talk about them. 

As soon as you end the site walk, AI Notetaker automatically generates an intelligent summary of the conversation. This summary can become your first draft of a statement of work, or it may just function as key project notes. (depending on how deep and specific your conversation gets).
